We were so excited to try this place out in Orlando- everything was so delish and well worth it. Great job at marrying all the flavors together (Dominican and Japanese) it was beautifully curated. The tamarind margarita was probably one of the best drinks I've ever had, which is definitely saying something. I forgot some of the names of the dishes we had, but if I find myself in Orlando I'm definitely going to return. We arrived right after opening so we didn't have to wait for a table; the decor/ambiance is super cute- again I could see the Japanese and Dominican inspiration at the bar and through the cherry blossoms. Well done

I had to see what all the hype was about and boy, the food did not disappoint! We got the Chef Mike's Special and the No Bulto Roll. The meat was seasoned well and the maduro gave it a nice sweet touch. Ambiance was chill and I loved that both chefs were visible and greeted customers. The service is the reason I am not giving 5 stars as the server was not attentive - she did not check on us nor did she refill our water. Overall, I will definitely come back here for a date night!

This was a refreshing take on Latin Asian fusion. The Sushi rolls were amazing. The steak, chimichurri, and Maduros rolled up into a roll was different and so so good. The drinks here were very fun! The piña colada was one of the best I've had to date. It was creamy with a coconut flavor and wasn't watered down. The appetizers were also good, They had a good variety on their menu. The waitstaff was very attentive and personable. Gave great recommendations, They know how to brand themselves very well and work their social media. The owner and son were present and engaging with customers which I thought was a nice personable touch. Hope to get a central Orlando location soon! Pro-tip avoid rush hour/dinner times it gets packed! Venue was decorated nicely, has an outside seating area. If you want to sit inside be prepared to wait as it is a small venue.

Great dining! Very creative dishes, putting a twist to your typical sushi and even cocktails! It's a small restaurant but very comfortably offers seating inside and in their outdoor patio. Pretty busy but we didn't have to wait (party of 4). Lots of sushi options, Dominican inspired like the Cibao which was made from fried salami, fried cheese and fried plátano. The hennycolada .. the name says it all, sip it slowly! Daddy Ninja himself was there and greeting customers, all the staff makes you feel very welcome and they will all greet you! Definitely recommend, for a twist to what you expect!

Finally got a chance to check out this local gem here in Kissimmee-- definitely one of the more authentic dining experiences in the area. Definitely captures the Dominican-Japanese fusion of flavors. HAPPY HOUR 5-8 PM, 5$ margs + 5$ sangria + 5$ mojitos. The mojito was the tastiest in my opinion! Partner got the sangria and marg, which he said was good too. Salt rim was on point. 1. Ceviche appetizer - 8/10: SO good. The sour from the lemon juice paired very, very well with the salty fried plantains. They do an avocado/octopus ceviche. Really recommend this one! 2. Chef's choice for rolls: (1) Kanagawa - 6.5/10: this one was good, it had raw fish on top. We asked him to include one roll with raw fish for us to try. Pretty basic roll if you're a sushi person. But paired well with the other two rolls he served. (2) La Pela - 8.5/10: REALLY recommend this one* Had a lobster topping and lobster sauce on it that was phenomenal. Very different flavors. Captures the Dominican-Japanese fusion very well. (3) No bulto roll - 7.5/10: giving this one a high rating as well because it was SO different. Plantains topped on the roll lended a slight sweetness. We dipped it in the *PASSIONFRUIT SAUCE. Which leads me to my next point: 3. PASSIONFRUIT SAUCE (to dip sushi rolls in) - 10000/10: Where has this been all my life?!? Anyone who eats here HAS to ask for this sauce. It adds a slightly sour, fruity, tropical twist to traditional sushi. so good!! 4. El Chapo - 4/10: I'm going to be honest. This is their popular roll apparently, but it wasn't doing it for me. If you're hungry and looking for something to fill you up, this will do it though! The fried aspect of the roll paired with the pulled pork (?) on top was too heavy. For me, it didn't belong as a "sushi roll" to be consumed in small bites. Although the separate pieces in the roll were good on its own. Overall 8/10 experience. Service was great, everyone was very enthusiastic. The ambiance is intimate and the outdoor area is fantastic! Parking is a limited, but if you come early enough you can park near the other businesses.

Absolutely enjoyed the food and ambiance and daddy ninja! Our waitress was so kind and really made sure we enjoyed everything and it was to our expectations! It was a cold and rainy day when we came in and indoors was packed, but still opted for outdoor seating under the tent and with heaters, which didn't take away from the good food that we got! I shared a daddy ninja bowl, the Karol g, and el foking ninja roll. The rolls are a bit smaller, but packed with flavors. I don't even know which roll I loved more because they were so different, but the platanos added for a flavor I never expected. There's so many options to pick for here for anybody looking to have sushi or not. The daddy ninja bowl I got was a delicious take on teriyaki chicken. I paired everything with a refreshing spicy tamarind margarita; never had I had a tamarind cocktail, so this one is one for the books!
